Karen Hamilton is the parliamentary candidate for the Liberal Democrats for Birmingham Perry Barr. Perry Barr Constituency is situated in the North of Birmingham made up of the four wards of Perry Barr, Lozells and East Handsworth, Handsworth Wood and Oscott.

Karen was born and raised in Birmingham and has lived in the Great Barr and Handsworth areas of the constituency throughout her life. She studied at Brooklyn college, Great Barr and graduated from Birmingham City University (Birmingham Polytechnic) in Perry Barr.

She has a passion for education and for community issues. She wants to see a clean, green and safe environment for everyone.  Her hobbies are photography, coaching athletics and walking her dogs.

Karen has been a councillor in Perry Barr ward since 2004. She is currently chairperson of the Transportation and Street services scrutiny committee.  If you would like to find out more please contact Karen.
